Bishop Warren Edwin Boyd

Bishop Warren Edwin Boyd is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana. He attended Indianapolis Public Schools and graduated from Shortridge High School in 1972. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana in 1976. While at Earlham College, he was a member of the basketball team and served as team co-captain during his senior year. Bishop Boyd has completed additional studies in urban ministry at Martin University in Indianapolis.

Bishop Boyd is the son of the late Deacon Leo Boyd and the late Mother Ruby Dulin Boyd. He married Sister Waltnelle Armstrong of Columbia, Tennessee on June 16, 1979. He is the father of Nicole, Michael, Gregory and Steven, the grandfather of eleven and spiritual father and mentor to many others.

Bishop Boyd acknowledged and accepted the divine call of God to preach and teach the gospel September 17, 1988. Prior to this he was faithfully serving as a deacon, trustee, Sunday School teacher, and HYPU teacher at his local church. He preached his first message November 6, 1988, under the leadership and guidance of the late Bishop Frank Tisdale. Bishop Boyd was installed as pastor of the Original Church of God, Indianapolis, Indiana November 10,1991 by Bishop Donald R. Jones and Bishop Alvin E. White.

Bishop Boyd was consecrated as the Presiding Prelate of the Original Church of God National Body at the Annual Convocation in Nashville, Tennessee on August 9, 2015, by Bishop George Price, Bishop Albert Jones and the Bishop’s Cabinet. Prior to his elevation to the office of Bishop, he served in various national offices in the Original Church of God: Holiness Young People’s Union (HYPU) Vice President, HYPU President, Assistant General Overseer HYPU Congress, General Overseer HYPU Congress, Bishop’s Cabinet, and Overseer of Indiana and Western Ohio District.

Bishop Boyd also contributes to the Indianapolis community. He has served and supported the Board of Directors of the Christ Christian Academy Charitable Trust, the New Life Development Ministries and the Advisory Board of the Youth Summit for Change. He is the meeting host to the Meridian Highland Neighborhood Association for his church and congregation.
Bishop Boyd along with his wife, Leading Lady Waltnelle Armstrong Boyd continue to serve and lead the Original Church of God, Indianapolis, known as “The Place of Blessing.” Their faithfulness and commitment of God carries over to their divine appointment to the leadership of the Original Church of God National Body.

Bishop Ayuba Maigari

BISHOP AYUBA MAIGARI

Bishop Adidon Ayuba Maigari

Bishop Adidon  Ayuba Maigari was born in Idom, a small village in Southern Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria. He completed his primary education at Baptist Day School and completed his secondary education at Government Technical School in Bukuru, Jos. He attended Kaduna Polytechnic and obtained his diploma in automotive engineering technology.  He won a government scholarship to attend Kent State University, Kent, Ohio and earned his B.S. degree in vocational and industrial arts education.  Because of his performance, his scholarship was extended, and he proceeded to earn his M.S. degree in industrial arts education from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma.

As a young child, he was sent to a leprosarium hundreds of miles away and that separated him from his parents and siblings.  A missionary from the Baptist Day School recognized his intellectual abilities along with his desire to learn and be taught.  She became his teacher and second mother. 

He and his wife, Phyllis started their own construction and building maintenance company in 1992.  He is the CEO of Am-Pm Services.

Bishop Maigari has a passion for Christian Ministry and preaching the Word of God.  Through the years he has been involved in ministry as Sunday School teacher and Sunday School superintendent.  He was ordained an Elder in the Original Church of God in 1997 with high recommendations from his pastor the late Pastor Narbell Sweet.  He was later appointed Assistant Pastor at the Original Church of God, Akron, Ohio and served until 2005.  He was then appointed Pastor and Senior Servant.  He has served as Overseer for the Northern Ohio and Pennsylvania district and on the Bishop’s Cabinet. He is a teacher and presenter at many of the national convocations.  At the Annual Convocation in Nashville, Tennessee on August 9, 2015, he was consecrated as the Assistant Presiding Prelate of the Original Church of God National Body.  

Bishop Maigari is married to the lovely Missionary Phyllis Moss Maigari. They are the proud parents of five children, thirteen grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
